LAPUA RADIO CLUB
was founded in
1962 by members of Lapua High School Physics Club.

There are nowadays 41 members in the club from Lapua and the nearby district.

OH6AC is located high on the top of  Hill Simpsiö at 130 meters which provides ideal circumstances for amateur radio activities on UHF, VHF and HF-bands. Besides an HF-amateur radio station the club  maintains two FM-repeaters.

The club house was built in 1970.   It´s been repaired and reconstructed  over the past few years.
